News of The Father's Touch
Out of Africa!
Rafiki Reports
Our crusade trip in December and July was, by any measure we could think of, a tremendous testimony to the Lord's compassionate love! In each place where our teams ministered, there were incredible touches from the Father as He saved, healed and delivered thousands! The village of Bungonya, Tanzania, was radically transformed as a ministry team from Kenya joined ours to share the gospel and pray for the sick and oppressed. One of our team members is now an elder in their church! We witnessed a village near Kampala set free from the grip of a territorial spirit of death!
The tour finished with the village of Isongo, Kenya, also being invaded by the Kingdom of God! All the sick were healed in 4 days of ministry and crusade meetings! The mean-spirited chief gave his life to Christ in front of the entire village on the last night, and tremendous rejoicing broke out all over the village! We learned later that the story of the Lord's transformation of Isongo has been broadcast all over both Kenya and Uganda, encouraging untold thousands of villagers and city-dwellers alike!
Our team was certainly "wrecked beyond recognition!" Visit our website at www.fatherstouch.org to download Steve's trip report.

King's Kids' Korner!
Some of the King's Kids with their brand new bikes - along with mzungus (white people) on our team that visited the Children's Home in December!
Thanks to the support of caring people, every one of our King's Kids at the FTM Children's Home in Igoma Village, Tanzania, was blessed with a brand new bike just in time for our visit in December. [We have also been able to send money to our Children's Home Director, Rev. Samuel Kitula, in time for him to purchase nice Christmas gifts for every child!]
We received letters of thanks from some of the kids and we include one of them here from Teddy Amos, shown below:
Each of the King's Kids now has an email address by which their sponsors can correspond with them. We have helpers in Igoma to translate from English into Kiswahili if necessary. We will be posting more communications from the children directly on our website as we receive them. Please visit our site often to keep up on news!
If you would like to sponsor one or more of our King's Kids in Igoma, or contribute to our Building
Fund to house more of these precious ones, please visit our website at:

Touches from the Father!
|
(Testimony by Ms. B. - March 2005)
I praise God for joy, for love, for hope in the future on this side of heaven, for hope today, for God's love casting out fear, for God's love empowering me to love others.
Like Timothy, I was taught the sacred scriptures from childhood. But my joy was always mixed with a heaviness of heart. Even in the spiritual high points of overseas ministry, those who were close to me would say, "Heavy sigh!" every time I sighed because my sighing was so often and unconscious that friends had to bring it to my attention. This heaviness got darker after my marriage and still darker after I had each of my five children, until I was reluctant to drive freeway overpasses because of the suicidal thoughts that went through my head as I drove. I told my husband I couldn't trust myself to drive. I felt I was going crazy. As my depression grew worse, my allergies also worsened until I was sick almost all year long day and night. I was also getting multiple bald spots on my head. I felt old and weary of living. For my family's sake, I prayed to "get well," not really knowing what that would entail.
When a dear friend was diagnosed with cancer, the Lord used her testimony and faith to bring me answers for my own healing. At a Father's Touch meeting, I received prayer for depression and allergies, and the spirits of fear and unbelief were cast out! Since then I have felt an unmixed joy bubbling up and out of me onto others. I was surprised how dramatically different I felt in just an instant! I didn't have to pull myself out from under the weight with agonizing effort. The spirits of heaviness just left and the Lord lifted me up, light and blooming. I am a joyful blossom on the Branch of Christ, dancing in the wind of the Holy Spirit. I feel my body strengthening as my spirit thrives!
At the next meeting of the Father's touch ministry, I received prayer for tormenting thoughts of death and for the baldness on my head. As I drove home from the meeting, I laughed on the freeway overpasses because, instead of hearing the voices of death, I "saw" the puckered lips of angry but silenced demons whose mouths had been prophetically "sewn shut" that evening. I have such freedom in my spirit and lightness and exuberant joy; I can almost "feel" the hair on my head growing.
I am free to live a life of love and victory and joy! Thank you, Lord! Your love has broken through the darkness, lighting up my countenance, warming away the chilliness in my heart. Joy and love have come together to fill me with Life who is Christ. Praise to Him who first loved us!

Salubrious Servings!
"Father, Make My Heart Big Enough!"
by Steve Trullinger
What are we going to do about the open revolt and outright rebellion that our culture is tolerating and, in many communities, actually embracing? The many examples that splatter the front pages and become titillating fare on the talk shows are indeed evidence that significant numbers of our citizenry are lamentably looking forward to "tuning in" to the latest "feast" of bizarre, immoral conduct. What can "little ol' me" do in the face of this societal erosion into the sea of iniquity?
Should we boycott the tabloids and talk shows and their sponsors? Should we write to our congressmen and demand that our community leaders put a stop to this moral decline? Should we picket outside establishments of poor repute? Such actions may be appropriate, but more is needed!
Should we "war in the heavenlies," unsheathe our "swords" and charge into the enemy camp? Should we assault the spiritual forces of wickedness? Absolutely! But that is not all!
God has told, and is telling, us that he desires to extend his mercy toward us, that his heart is yearning for his kindness to be known and received [Neh. 9:17c], that we might be led to repentance [Rom. 2:4] from our rebellion.
We need to pray for mercy for our nations, that God might respond as he did when Abraham interceded for Sodom, and as he did when Moses interrupted God's expressed desire to wipe out the Israelites and "start over."
It starts where we are. During my frequent prayer-walks through my community over the last few years, I have been asking the Father for understanding of his heart for us, for more insight into his compassion and his plan for our region. Many mornings I have been encouraged by his assurance that his plan is to prosper us, and not to harm us [Jer. 29:11]. But I needed to know how I must change in order to partner with him more effectively!
The answer came one morning, as Holy Spirit encouraged me to ask, "Father, please make my heart big enough to hold all these people!" My heart broke with a flood of tears as I received more understanding of the Father's love [Eph. 3:17b-19], as I was willing to have my heart "stretched" way beyond where it had been up to then.
As sons of God, we can make a huge difference in our nations by asking God to make our hearts big enough to hold the people around us, to bath them in the love and mercy that he wants to fill our hearts with as we become more Christlike. Our Father wants not only our intercession for transformation but also our transformation as we intercede.

Tender Touch at Yuletide!
|
During this Christmas time of celebration, most of us have opportunity to share the Good News with family and friends and to provide a tender touch from the Father to someone in need. If we actively seek ways to be that agent of touch, the Lord receives the blessing also! [Mt. 25:31-40] Thanks for your caring heart for others!
From all of us at The Father's Touch Ministries, may your blessings now and throughout the coming New Year be multiplied beyond measure as we rejoice together in remembering the most wonderful birth of all!
Merry Christmas!
